Step-by-Step Measurement Guide
Follow these instructions carefully for the most accurate measurements
Basic Information
At the beginning, enter your contact details and basic information about yourself. This will help us better tailor the suit cut to your figure.
- What will be needed:
- Your age and gender
- Height in centimeters
- Current weight
- Preferred unit of measurement (cm/inch)
Arm Size
Measure shoulder length and circumferences at key points. Remember to bend your arm at the elbow at a 90° angle when measuring the bicep.
- What measurements will be needed:
- From the top of the shoulder to the elbow bone
- From the top of the shoulder, over the elbow point, down to the wrist
- Upper arm circumference
- Bicep circumference – arm bent, at the widest point
- Elbow circumference – arm bent
- Forearm circumference – at the widest point
- Wrist circumference
- Hand circumference
- Most common mistake:
- Measuring bicep on a straightened arm
- Too loosely placed tape
- Measurement in inappropriate place
Chest Circuit
Measure chest circumference at the widest point, at armpit height. The tape should be level and fit the body, but not squeeze.
- What measurements will be needed:
- Neck circumference – measured at the bottom of the collar ( a) at the middle of the collar )
- Back width – from the top of the right shoulder to the top of the left shoulder
- Back width at armpit level
- Front width at armpit level
- Upper chest circumference
- Chest circumference
- Lower chest circumference
- Waist circumference at the narrowest point (You can tie a string around your waist to make it easier)
- Hip circumference
- Buttocks circumference
- Tips:
- Stand straight, arms down freely
- Breathe normally during measurement
- Tape level around entire body
Leg Circuit
Measure the leg circumference of the thigh and calf at the widest points. This ensures comfortable fit of the legs.
- What measurements will be needed:
- Thigh circumference – at the widest point
- Thigh circumference – 15 cm above the knee
- Knee circumference
- Calf circumference
- Ankle circumference
- Instep circumference
- How to measure:
- Thigh - at the thickest part, just under the buttocks
- Calf - at the widest part
- Stand on both legs evenly
Torso Length
Measure circumference at waist, hips and buttocks. These measurements are crucial for proper suit fitting in the middle part of the body.
- What measurements will be needed:
- From the neck hollow (dip between collarbones) to the waist string
- From the front waist string, through the crotch, to the back waist string
- From the most prominent bone at the base of the neck to the waist string
- Important:
- Tie a string at the narrowest part of waist as reference point
- Hips measure at the widest point
- Stand straight, don't tense muscles
- Most common mistake:
- Hunched posture during measurement
- Poorly chosen starting point for the tape
- Missing reference point at the waist
Leg Length
The last step is measuring leg length. Measure from crotch to knee, from crotch to floor, and from hip to floor. These measurements determine the length of the legs.
- What measurements will be needed:
- From the crotch to the center of the knee (inside leg)
- From the crotch, through the knee, down to the floor (inside leg)
- From the hip bone to the floor
- Most common mistake:
- Measurement taken too loosely
- Shifting the tape along the inner side of the leg
- Incorrect starting point at the crotch
Trouser Measure
If you wish to order our trousers or pants, please measure:
- Waist measurement where you normally wear your trousers
- Seat height measured on the side of the trousers
- Trouser circumference with a belt
- Most common mistake:
- Measurement taken too loosely
- Shifting the tape along the inner side of the leg
- Incorrect starting point at the hips
